I just couldn't resist the Caribbean connection there! Last night the SOs had their annual Wine Night. It was kind of like a get-to-know-you for all the significant others. Everyone brought a bottle of wine (or soda if you don't drink) and we all chatted and played a game or two. I was one of only 3 of us who stuck to the Sprite, but no one seemed to are about that. Here we all are looking shiny with sweat (as usual down here):
There were still quite a few SOs who didn't show up, but the ones who did were so much fun! People kept telling me that having nothing to do down here would be rough, but so far, I'm adjusting perfectly. And with these girls to hang out with everyday, I think I'll be alright!
So many shiny, tan women! Also: I feel really dumb because this is the first time I've made the connection to pirates. I know right? You should find out if there are any cool pirate stories or locations and check them out! That'd be really awesome! You should go on a treasure hunt! ...just saying... then maybe you could actually afford icecream!
ReplyDeleteThe only cool pirate story I know is that the island Jack & Elizabeth are stranded on in Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the little ones of the coast of Grenada. Haven't been there yet, but that's my claim to fame!
