Sticker shock

Now, we knew the exchange rate out here was $1 US to $2.67 EC.  Meaning the prices seem much higher than they should be.  For example...

 
this bottle of vegetable oil.
 

However, even taking the exchange rate into consideration things are EXPENSIVE.  We went shopping today and bought some minimal groceries.  I want you all to look at the pictures and then guess how much it all cost.

    Holy shoot... looks like you guys will be dieting for the next 2 years! The Caribbean Diet: make things ridiculously expensive!

      Yeah, Ting soda is amazing, but I'm waaaaaay more in love with grape Fanta now. It's like twice my daily allotment of sugar, but it makes me happy. :)
